Hey everyone,

I've played Cities Skylines since it came out and since then a lot of really cool custom content was added to make this game even better. I saw things happen I thought were impossibe to make. Long story short: I've waited a lot time for custom traffic lights, but they never came and nobody is working on them, so I decided to try myself.

The model won't be a problem. I dumped the default traffic light LOD (because you guys locked the original grrrr) using ModTools, so I have a model and the textures. But now comes the tricky part.

The dumped Color mask, Illumination mask and Alpha map are combined in a .aci texture. And it has all kinds of colors as shown below:

I noticed when testing with a white cube, the whole cube turned green at green light and purple with red light. With a Color mask the color changing is limited to the lights only. Now my question to anyone, mostly the developers, is what do the colors mean in the .aci? According to the wiki: both Color mask and Illumination mask should be grey-scale. So where does the color come from? Is is to canel out the purple and green that the game adds? And how will it apply to the pedestrian lights?

Please help me... :(
