Daenerys events question

(I apologize in advance if this is not the right place to ask this. long time fan of the mod, but new to the sub forum)

I just started a new campaign as Daenerys, choosing the path to go to Pentos instead of Slaver's Bay. I got the event where Illyrio proposes marrying Aegon and using Pentos and the Gold Company to invade Westeros, where there is only one option. But, unlike previous playthroughs of this mod, Aegon does not reveal himself (even years after the war ends and Daenarys is forced to marry a member of the great houses). My question is: is this a bug or WAD?

I'm going to guess that he died right before or right after you made it to Pentos.

Now this would have been a truly unexpected twist.

ASOIAF doesn't have as many random deaths as it should, as far as I'm concerned. Where are the major characters dying in random battle, or of the plague? It'd be hilarious if Daenerys mounts the Pale Mare and just dies.
