DAIM-20060107.exe is an incomplete archive

I just used auto installer DAIM-20060107.exe.

Apparently /ai/switches/minor_gear.ai or somesuch is missing, my game hangs on it the day after I dow Luxemburgh (Jan 5th).

Please provide full filelist.

Hmm, this installer (just to be sure: it's the one for standard HoI 2, not Doomsday) is unchanged for more than half a year now and there were no complaints. And we didn't touch the mentioned file at all, so I'd think that there's a problem on your side. Did you use other mods on that installation, or did you do some modding on your own?

Wait, is that not DAIM's file?
I installed SMEP too, but it said, it aint doing anything with AI.

No, it isn't. It's a standard AI file which we never touched.

Edit: You are playing HoI 2, not Doomsday, right?

Gah. It was aok all the time.

I installed SMEP and saw it did nothing to /ai/ folder and it worked fine, except of 5 event id conflicts.
Then I installed DAIM and there I went.
Either before DAIM my game never requested that file, or DAIM removed it..

I'll reinstall 1.3b and hope that will fix.

The DAIM installer is fine. And it certainly didn't remove any files upon installation.
Mixing up mods always has its risks, that's the point.
