Problem is that Starfire uses middir and DAIM don't use . So you had to do a little modwork by yourself because the directory paths doesn't match. Zakouski
has merged both forhimself , maybe you ask him, what he has changed .

How to merge DAIM + Starfire

Ok, I asked permission to Mithel and G'Kar to merge their mods. They both agreed, and I warmly thank them. Mithel gave me this procedure :

My advice would be to install DAIM and then let the Starfire files overwrite them. Then look at the DAIM 1936.eug file and at the bottom you'll notice some event lines they added. Add those to the Starfire1936.eug file.

That should give you a pretty good functioning system (single player only unless you get other players to do the *exact* same thing).

Note : this procedure it will only work with the Starfire 1936 scenario, as it use Modddir.

I'm actually playing a 1936 campaign as Uk, without any problem (I'm in 1941, and I had great fun).

Maybe there could be a small problem.

Mithels Starfire Mod has its own "ita_1936.ai".
I think, after starting the "HoIStarfire.exe" Mithels italian AI would stand over the DAIM ita AI.

Maybe its better to delete Mithels AI.... not sure.
Dont know what was Mithels intention to create it. As it is the only AI in his mod.

For those that have used Starfire + DAIM. How do you know the correct AI files are being used? Should we install Starfire first, then extract all DAIM files except the scenario into the moddir? As someone else also mentioned, starfire has its own italy file. If the Italy AI file is working in moddir, then all DAIM files should be put in moddir as well just to be sure.
