Yep, there seems to be a problem with Spocky's server right now. In the meantime, you can download DAIM on PackMan's page.

I'm on DDv1.2 with DAIM for 1.2. I'm going to patch up to v1.3a with DAIM v1.3a.
What should be the safe way to go about it?

Exactly. There should be a DD-DAIM-uninstall.exe in your main DD folder to do the first part.Thundergate said:
i dont remember corectly, but i did a fresh install of the game and patch along with the graphics i use and then i installed DAIM, started a game as canada and its now 1940 and no war, so should DAIm do this or is because i went straight into a game right after installing.
Sorry, but I'm not sure to understand the question. As a possible response, I'll say that war can be missing about as often with DAIM as without it.
well i guess that is the problem, i know what i wrote must be hard to understand. I was trying to ask that when i install DAIM i thought it said somewhere that it will start working after your first game or something, but seeing i did not i thought it was the cause of the war not starting.
Is there anything I can do to save the soviets? I know they have the capability to really do well, but in all my daim games, germany defeats them in 1941/1942. Is this a similar situation to china?
