I tried the DAIM bigpack and have had some mixed results so far. Overall I like it. First the positives playing as Germany...

I'm very impressed with the military buildup of Russia, US, UK, and Japan. I'm also very impressed with Japan's early conquests (annexed China before '39 and pushed the UK completely out of Asia by '42). UK actually defended it's home islands well enough that it was a pain to conquer even after I destroyed their navy. It took me til early in '42 to pass Japan and the US in army divisions (both had over 200). Russia had over 400 before '42.

Now for the bad... Italy sat around and did absolutely nothing (except annex Ethiopia and Albania) until I had conquered France and gotten them into the Axis. Even after joining the Axis they didn't lift a finger against Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria, or Turkey even after I DOW'd them. They did push the UK out of Africa but somehow got bogged down and couldn't take out Iraq without me helping.

Russia failed to DOW me in '42. It's almost '43 now and the US has yet to enter war with anyone despite a belligerence by me of over 70 and by Japan of over 100. Japan never DOW'd the US either.
 
The missing japanese dow is strange . With which agrgressivity do you play ?
We testet with normal/aggressive and we always had a pacific war and Italy who tries to capture Egypt

I usually play normal/furious. I don't mind Italy waiting on the Africa campaign until they join the Axis because the UK slaughters them if they don't. I'd like to see them pick a fight with Greece or maybe Yugoslavia before that though.

Not sure what's up with Japan. Normally Pearl Harbor happens almost immediately after Japan joins the Axis but for some reason this time the attack never came. I did get them to join the Axis earlier than I normally do so maybe the timing of that is an issue.
