In my experience, the US AI builds almost everything in large amounts.

I was wondering how you guys tackle such a military behemoth. In a recent game as Italy, I had five carriers in '44, with two others already sunk and six more nearing completion but the US navy sported 52 something and 350 DIVs...funnily, we weren't at war since the US had not allied with the CW but I don't know how I could ever hope to beat that many ships, even when AI-controlled. The Japanese AI with its comparatively meagre fleet doesn't stand a chance.

I then started a game as Japan. I am trying an early invasion in 1937 but of course I lack screens, cap ships, planes and boots. For every INf I build, the US has built three even before I dow'ed her, so I fear I must abort the experiment.

However, any later than '37 the US will have so much more of everything that I don't know how to compete successfully. Any tipps & tricks? Is an invasion even possible in DAIM?
