Damn force convert!!

Okay, here is my problem:

I'm playing as Turkey, and I have occupied all of the Persian provinces, but I cannot annex them, I can only force convert them! What if I want to annex them? Johan, this needs to be fixed.

Also, again, how do I make majors minors?

Try hacking your latest savegame file (making a backup of course), and erasing the block that has whatever country in it. I think there is also a flag in the country block determining whether it is a major or a minor. This whole annoying problem could be fixed if Paradox just had an option to annex majors, adding any special restrictions or penalties if they want.

My king,

the text (in German, if I am not mistaken?) says, that if you don't want to convert them, press abbrechen, the equivalent to 'cancel'. You should then enter normal negotiations.

In fact, if you do press 'abbrechen' you will be able to annex them Persians.

I know, but I can't annex them! Somehow I haven't got all the stars I need for it...hmmm.... those damn Persians must have some provinces in India which I don't know of, better send an explorer.

I've begun playing Colonization again, aaaahh....the memories!
