I find it very boring each time I install a new version of EU2 to be oblige to go and set again all my preferences for the different message boxes.

Does anyone know where they are store, and a better way than the GUI to set them ? (a copy and paste from somewhere to somewhere else would be fantastic).

Thanks,

Cat

Simple: run up EU2, change your message settings, close it down again. Which file has a new modified timestamp?

From memory it's config.eu .

Yes, its config.eu. Set your message setting, copy this file into a safe directory and after a new install, copy this file back into the main directory. Your message settings will be saved and no more of the tedious setting changes. Also, in the new betas, the config.eu file hasn't been in the zip archives that come with the patch, so your message settings are safe with the 1.07 betas installs.
