DAN vs. DEN

Looking through the monarch files, I notice that there are files for both DAN and DEN. They both appear to have Danish kings though DEN is missing some of them.

Is DEN a legitimate TAG or is this just a misnamed monarch file that should have been deleted?

FYI, the monarch ID numbers are different in the two files (if you didn't know that already). I am guessing they are available.
