Data error during install

I'm trying to reinstall HoI2, but when it gets to 97%, I get this error:

"Component: Core Files"
"File Group: common"
"File: D:\data2.cab"
"Error: data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

The installer than crashes. Don't know what the problem is, the disk has no scratches or anything.

This is usually the result of one of Four things.

1.You had a virus that left corrupted some system files, even if the Virus has been wiped out. - Solution reinstall windows or atleast attempt repair install.

2. The CD Drive is not reading the disk properly. - Solutions would be if you have another Drive try it. Or install on friends machine and copy back over.

3. The CD is dirty or dammaged. Solution clean the CD with glass cleaner and soft cloth. If dammaged replace CD.
