As much as there seems to be dozens of variations on this problem, I'm completely stumped as to why I can't get my newly downloaded and updated Doomsday to work on mulitplayer.
No previous problems with multiplayer games - just two computers with XP etc etc.
Have and ADSL Modem/Router - attempted to configure forwarding / UPnp / DMZ to no avail.
Then directly connected using a cross-over cable and fixed IPs. Still nothing - we can see each others computer and ping each other, but when we start doomsday we can't connect using LAN or Internet options.
I've disable firewalls and everything I can think of, nothing works.
Is there anything I may have overlooked?
