Dead Legions - Artifact Forge Tutorial Window bug

In the Dead Legions prologue, when you go to the abandoned fort in the viking lands, the tutorial hint window stretches itself. You can't click on it nor close it nor play anymore.

I tried several times from the same quicksave and I crashed every time.

(steam version 1.1.05)

PS a couple of minutes after I alt-tabbed the game crashed but I don't know if it crashed because of the bug or because of the alt-tab).

Have you tried reproducing the issue?

Also, we could use a save to check if the same thing happens on a different gaming rig.

So please upload your save files (3 files is one save: .inf, .jpg, .sav - jpg is not so important, you can exclude it if you find the file to big to upload) anywhere and paste the link to it here or alternatively you can send it to support@kingarthurthewargame.com and don't forget to link this thread for reference.

Loading your save I was not able to reproduce the issue (on Win7 64 bit), but I'll forward it to one of my colleagues, maybe it is somehow related to the fact that you use 32bit Win XP, we'll see.

Anyway, as this tutorial message appears only once we can bypass this issue easily till we find the cause of it. I captured the forge location (btw, it started a war with the Vikings, but that is a message you surely got too) and saved the game for you to load. You can download it from here:

I am experiencing the same issue as jeckhyl.
I happened at the artifact forge and again when I try to do the army upgrade thing (I am forgetting the name at the moment) that you are introduced to after rescuing one of the old generals.

After this happens I am unable to click anything and has to exit the game with alt+f4 or similar.

In fact I am playing (a lot) King Arthur 1 (I just discovered the licence, and it's wonderful).

One can say it was, somehow, a gamestopper in KA2 because this bug came so early in my game (one bug, repeated, meaning a game crash, after what, half an hour, and much less later when you skip some text boxes), I decided to drop it and wait for the patches.

Anyway KA1 is keeping me very busy (even if it seems to me "Fog of Avalon + Dragon Eye + bowmen = God Mode" at the moment, I hope you corrected this in KA2).
