i just meant that this date:

does not work. it would be cool if we had an option before starting a game to switch this one on or off. if on, the leader should dissapear at the end of 1942, if this is off everything stays like it is now.
this way modders could test and add people until this fully works for at least the most important nations in a 1936 - 1955 time frame.
for politicians you can still write some events, they arent that many.

The solution implemented for the next release is as follows: every ten days death date is checked for the existing leaders, and if the death year coincides with the current year, there is a random chance of dying. The probability is a percentage calculated with a linear formula, from 0 in the first day of the year to 100 in the last day.
