Any reason why it appears a debug version has been uploaded to the Steam Store as the Linux Download?

I've just downloaded the game for the first time in about a year and I'm getting Jenkins Assert Failure errors all over the place...

Also, when the game started up, the window briefly included the word 'Debug'

Interesting insight into the code quality. Even in a debug version an assert should not occur. An assertion is usually a statement which the programmer thinks is true and the message should only appear if this is not the case - which usally means a bug...
