Bravo on the amazing aid & info this site provides. I loath to ask for help but cannot find the answer anywhere to this silly little question; I am playing Austria & am in alliance with France & Saxony. Spain & her allies declare war on France. Saxony declares war on the Spanish alliance as part of our alliance - but I don't seem to be able to do the same. If I declare war on Spain, it doesn't include her allies & it's separate from the alliance I have with France & Saxony. If I wait to be invited to join the war (I think the manual may sort of imply this is the case) then a month later I'm kicked out of the alliance for "dishonoring" it. How can I join my alliance in a war as part of the alliance instead of going it alone. Thanx!

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Set ur messages to pause and pop up. For example the "join war" and "call allies" ones, which u seem to lack here.
If those aren't one there should be a little icon in the top corner of ur screen ...

Plus (if you've got the sound on) there should be a little "ta da" fanfare to alert you to the herald who is standing in your palace courtyard bearing the arrow thingy from Gondor, summoning you to their aid...
Just to make things clearer:-
When playing the game go to "Menu" at bottom left.
Select Option then Message Settings. Now set the many messages to how you want them to alert you.
