USSR 1941-1942

Year Of Glory :USSR August 1941 - Dec 1942

During the hot month of August 1941, the nazi warmongering mongrels launched an utterly unprovoked , treacherous and evil attack on the peace loving USSR despite all our attempts to stay out of the war.

Thanks to the far seing efforts of comrade Stalin , however we were prepared.

The Kutuzov plan was in effect. A scorched earth policy implemented in May/June 1941 denied any economic fruits to the mongrels while our brave red army occupied strong defensive positions from Pskov to Stalingrad and the Causcasus.

Never the less using brute force and superior numbers the mongrel bastards managed to reach Vitebsk which our forces had to evacuate and then Moscow. However under the inspired leadership of comrade Stalin our generals executed brilliant flanking manoeuvers, decimating the ennemy forces in Pskov and liberating Vitebsk. This , plus heroic actions from our air force coupled with a landing of our gallant allies in France convinced the mongrels to run for their life.

Soon our armies, in full pursuit reached Poland and liberated Rumania. This is when the italian jackals, showing at last their true face as subservient lackeys of the mongrels treacherously declared war on the peace loving USSR. This unholy alliance between mongrels and jackals put at the disposition of the forces of evil a number of divisions , planes and tanks in excess of that of the red army. Never the less our forces succeeded in libreating Yugoslavia and Greece while scouting forces moved as far as Vienna, Munich and Berlin, to show the mongrel leadership that they would not be safe anywhere.

Our gallant but alas incompetent allies were however not able to hold on to their gains on the western front. Thus the mongrels were able to concentrate all their ground and air forces against our heroic soldiers. The red army prudently retreated to a strong defensive line from Konigsberg to Odessa taking every opportunity to hit the ennemy hard. Large battles were fought and won, and a large number of ennemy infantry formations destroyed, alas not without losses of our own.

In november 1942, the reactionary forces in Finland decided to join the Jackalo-mongrelian alliance. In less than a month they were utterly defeated by the Leningrad reserve army and Finland is now a proud republic of the USSR.

In parallel we launched a new winter offensive , pushing the jackals out of key regions in Rumania and blodying the mongrels in Poland.

Despite the losses suffered by our gallant but incompetent allies on the western front who have failed so far to provide air cover to their troops and despite the exagerated claims of the mongrelo-jackalian propaganda, the reich is in agony.

The reich started their agression against USSR (operation fartarossa) with 235 divisions avalaible. As of December 1942 the mongrels only have 135 divisions left despite an intensive build program. Since the mongrels probably mobilized a minimum of 36 additional division according to conservative estimates from our glorious intelligence services during the period of August 1941-December1942, it can be inferred that close to 140 infantry and motorized infantry divisions have been destroyed during that period; At least 90 of these division have been eliminated by the red army (though not without losses to our glorious forces), a tribute to the courage of our soldiers, the skills of our generals and the genius of comrade stalin.

Thus, despite reverses suffered by the incompetents, the mongrels do not have any reserves and can barely man their coast line. Festung Europa is no more.

The struggle will be long and hard but we shall prevail.

The end

The allied threw in the towel after some discussions.
Japan was going down, having lost about all of her possesions apart from china and japan (north japan was occupied by americans).

-The germans had succesfully landed and taken over almost all of England and Belfast. Scotland would have fallen too.
-The main problem for the Allies was not the fall of England, as we concluded that it would be taken back when the fleets arrived. The problem was the Sovjet. It took the German 1 month from the second invasion of France was pushed back to reach moscow again, and the Sovjets still had NO tanks. The German had now every opportunity to use large portions of his army elsewhere even before he had taken moscow.
-The second problem was the lost tech-race. After taking over USA in late 39, they had absolutely no armor tech, fighter tech, poor industry tech, no naval tech, some poor sub tech. When the game ended in '43 now my first to improved fighter wings were sendt to England (!!!). Still another 45 days were needed to get my first corps of Improved medium tanks. We were too far behind in the tech race, and no country had prioritzed tanks. Take this as a VERY important lesson next time....get some armor.
-I still feel we fought well....even managed to shrink Japan to a little shrimp. We lost basically on the account that German superduper heavy tanks could not be touch by any other units than superduper tanks, which none of us had.
Great game.

PS: Of course next time ill be there from the start and all my opponents will die fast like always, but well have fun as long as it lasts:)

Next game set up so far:

-aldo:natchin
-glenn thomas: russia
-tomar: italy

-dag:japan or canada
-jan:japan or canada
-madviking:england
-juv:USA

Japan Imperial Report

The conclusion.

We were shocked to find that even though the Sovjet Union was on the brink of destruction, it found time to declare war upon our great nation.

In December 1942 their forces attacked Manchuria and ourselves, with almost 40 divisions and a huge airforce. Immediatly, we took steps to prevent a catastrophy in North Korea and China.
From our reserves we sendt 12 regular infantry divisions, and also our 5 armour divisions from Burma plus 6 elite infantry was sent. This made it possible to halt his advance, and even begin our own counterattacks.
Sadly this was at the expense of the Burma front, which withdrew to Kunming line that we had built in the Chinese southwestern hills.

We managed to retreat in order, and established new lines in Kunming, while using our naval airforce to harass and destroy enemy transporters..which we did with great success.

In North Korea we fought valiantly but the huge Sovjet Union airforce bluntet all our attacks, making it almost impossible to advance, yet we did manage to do it to some extent.

Elsewhere the empire was failing rapidly, our island even the Bonin Island were taken, the american devils wasted little time.

At this point it began clear we were hopelessly outnumbered, so delayin action was the only thing left for us.
As such the enemy did become overconfident, and launched an attack on Hong Kong, only to find their transports sunk behind them, and 15 allied divisions surrendered.
Also an american sub fleet sustained heavy casualties outside Tokyo while trying to blockade our homeland.

At this point, it had become clear that the allies no longer could sustain their war-effort elsewhere, and that their massive assault on our land, was an act of desperation, while they had succeeded somewhat, an assault on our homeland would seem very unlikly considering their options.

Also rumours were aloof that the English islands had fallen to the Germans, and that north Africa had been taken by the Italian.

Thus in April 1943 peace negotiations where undertaken.

Banzai.

Situation report number 5
Germany's experience 1 December 1942 – 24 March 1943

After the humiliating defeat of the Allies on the western front, the German panzers were once again shipped by train across Europe. Since the Red Army lacked anything even remotely resembling a modern tank force, they were quickly pushed back, and Moscow fell around New Years day. The conquered Russian steel reserves prooved vital for the further expansion of the Kriegsmarine. After our latest submarine technology was complete, and the completion of some additional dive bombers and 150mm Maus tanks, the Reichs industry was re-geared toward our future naval empire. A decent-sized transport flotilla was constucted, and after the arrival of Karl Dönitz as minister of the Navy, hoards of submarines were being produced. The sole purpose of this was to conduct our long waited revenge: the invasion of mainland UK.

The plan was originally called for an invasion during the summer of 1943 (at which time naval supremacy would be aquired), but due to the situation in Asia (where the Japanese were loosing ground fast), the plan was altered and the invasion had to take place many months earlier. This meant that not one single German submarine would be ready, instead we had to rely on naval support from our Italian allies, and have the Luftwaffes divebombers handle any submarines threatening our transport ships. The plan would work mainly due to the wreckless naval planning of the UK, sending her entire navy to fight in the Pacific. Only a small submarine force was left to guard her own shores.

Italy conducted a surprise amphibious landing in Egypt, supported by 9 German tank divisions under the command of von Manstein, who quickly seized the Suez canal, forcing the UK fleet to take the long route around Africa. German forces under Rommel landed near Coventry, meeting little or no resistance from the equiped Canadian troops, who seemed to still be using WWI tactics. London fell within a few days, and 25 enemy divisions were taken prisoner. The tanks rolled north into Scotland, mopping up the last of the defenders.

Meanwhile in the east, the Russian defence had collapsed, and Stalingrad was taken and the perimeter around Moscow expanded. It was at this time that our enemys sued for peace. Victory!

The peace treaty was signed in Scotland during the early parts of April, and under the Treaty of Glasgow, the Allies and Soviets would yield the following:

1) UK will pay £12 billion to Germany as compensation
2) All colonies taken in 1918 be reverted back to Germany
3) Gibraltar and Egypt to be annexed by Italy
4) India to be annexed by Japan
5) The UK navy to be scuttled completely
6) All land west of the Dniepr river be annex by Germany
7) All land west of the Urals be made a German protectorate
8) President Roosevelt to be covered with tar and feathers and march down Unter den Linden in full daylight
9) Florida be made into a special German protectorate (ah, those sunny beaches!)

- Herr Ribbentrop! Herr Ribbentrop!

- Ja?

- Herr Ribbentrop. I am Aldo Fritzelli, First Reporter from Prada. What will happend with those Austrian and Hungarian territori claimed by La Germania but occupato da L'Italia? Will these territories stay Italian as a memory of the abominalble Tedesco-Italiano Semi-Alleanza, I mean the German-Italian Semi-Alliance?

- Why did Italy occupy those lands at all, German as they were?

Very entertaining AAR. It sounds like the German had his encirclement tactics honed pretty well, and perhaps played the tech game a bit better. Do you have any pictures of the final numbers of divisions, naval units, and air units? It seems the Japanese weren't doing so well by that last screenshot.
