Hostage Exchange needs a pop-up: I don't know how many offers I've missed to exchange hostages because the little blinking thing goes by so quickly in the bottom of the screen and I miss it. Can I manually change this to require a pop-up or pause the game?

Also, the High Priority / Low Priority message buttons on the right are frustratingly confusing. When I click the button for High Priority message, it disappears, when I click it again, the same old message comes back. I can see I have 14 messages but have no idea how to access the other 13.

Agreed on the diplomatic messages, they are so easy to miss. There is a sound effect but if you have music on its realy hard to hear. The icon should be bigger.

As for the priority messages, you can discard the current one and it will show the next.

there are 3 button in the message [ delete this message ] [ go to ] [ delete all messages ] use them.
if you dont want to miss stuff play on speed 4 this game is to fast to be played on speed 5

the hostage exchange offers DO pop out, i missed them too at first, but then i noticed them, see the mini map? they show up to it's left, keep an eye there, if you have any hostage exchange request, you'll see mini flags flashing

Those mini flags are too tiny and out of the way. If you're busy doing something else like fighting a war it's really easy to forget looking that way. They should pop at the middle of the screen.

well, i'm just saying the notifications ARE there, never said anthing about them being the best, and ya, it's easy to miss them if you're going by speed 4 or 5, i go by speed 3 and look at there every now and then, so i don't really miss them
