Denmark Strategy

I've been playing denmark recently and have been trying to conquer baltic trade whilst keeping sweden and norway. I've found:
Poland is a good ally to get early on - it's hard without Poland particularly if you start as a rival - and much easier if Poland gets the PU (Jagellion event in the first few years).
You can manage to steal land from Novgorod - Ingermanland/Neva/Novgorod - but Muscovy hates you for eternity, so you need a strong ally to stop them declaring war (sometimes your ally doesn't defend you...)
Taking land from the HRE early on just isn't worth it - haven't successfully managed this. It's easier to take land in Scotland or go colonising North america.
I've been trying to start claiming teuton land (Danzig/Memel/Konigsberg - +20 extra trade) - it's possible to take this before Poland puts a claim on it, sometimes worth delaying allying Poland because otherwise they call you to war there. Then you can try to take livonian order, then riga for the extra trade.

If you cut off the white sea does this stop Muscovy allying England? Might try to take this early on...

Denmark is a major Naval power. Destroy England and conquer great britain. Keep Moscovy from gaining a coastal province so it will not go west. Take them all yourself. White sea and Novgorod and start to eat your way east toward sibiria by taking over Moscovys valuable land around Moscovy.


Go protestant - lead the 30-years war to victory and become emperor and then enact the reforms and conquer the world....

Begin by annexing Holstein.
