Deployment

I produced some Swordfish Torpedo planes, they are ready for deployment, but i cant seem to get anywhere to take them ,if i click on province nothing happens , i put a carrier to sea nothing happened, they should be able to go to an airfield? they did in real life, so what am i doing wrong, thanks

Just so I get what you're saying. You produced torpedo bombers and they are ready for deployment. Having then clicked on the deployment button in the upper right hand of the screen you're bombers are there. YOu then click on the bombers at which point your provinces with airfields should turn green allowing you to place them in the said provinces.
Are you following these steps?

IIRC Swordfishs are a CAG Attachment for Carriers, so if you have build carriers and the are in a port ( on your home Island ) you should get a list of carriers you can deploy the CAG..

Beware, that a Carrier can only carry one CAG!

As an addendum, CAGS in all versions of HOI 2 can ONLY go on CVs, they can't fly independently around.

Yes they changed this from HoI1 where you had mobile airfields in the water

Yes i have clicked deployment button, then screen with Swordfish are shown, i click on icon top left it says deploym units, no ships or fields are offered for choice, so i clicked deploy units and clicked on Scapa Flow the Hermes and Glorius are there (two carriers anyway) nothing happens ,and i get info of ships in Scapa my deploy planes remain ready for deployment, same if i click on a/field, would it be because carriers have full complement of planes? , many thanks for your replys

Look in the upper right hand corner of the CV. If there is already a small aircraft icon there, then it's full up (one CAG to one CV). Also, I might be mistaken, but the two you mentioned might by CVLs. Those are like CVs, but they do not take CAGs. Hover over them and you should get the description. That or look them up in the register.

All ok now, i had the Ark Royal come down slipway with no planes, and my Swordfish deployed no bother, thanks for help
