I added in the new appointed_regent minor title last night as part of the minor titles update. Should we have any law or other restrictions on who can appoint a designated regent?

while designated regents can be lore-based, I'd like to propose that we tie it to the Centralization Policy I proposed in the Law Review thread. Specifically, only centralized and authoritative realms should be able to designate who becomes the regent, as autonomous/decentralized/balanced realms would have a power struggle to determine who becomes regent (and the outcome of this behind-the-scenes "power struggle" is abstracted as the almost-random-selected regent).
Good approach riknap, it keeps distinct gameplay styles -> more diversified experience depending on your realm's parameters 
Once the laws are in place, the become regent ambition which I am altering to include designated regent can be altered to match.
