Designer's Cut from Impulse really buggy

Hi, I just bought the game from Impulse and it crashes 9/10 times when I try to attack other companies on the open sea. It only happens when I have the Designer's Cut installed. The vanilla version runs fine without any problems. Is there a way to install the Designer's Cut from somewhere else than Impulse?

I also bought the Collector's bundle from Impulse last week. It is totally unplayable because of constant freezings on the strategic map. The process manager says the game is not responding. These freezing sometimes come up with massive graphic f**kups. I have no such problem on the tactical map (if I manage to get in a fight somehow).
Btw, I'm way above system requirements with updated drivers and everthing.... It shouldn't be an issue.

It seems many others have/had a similar problem but I couldn't find any help at all. This forum seems quite dead. At this point, it is a total waste of money.

I have the same problem frkhead...some sort of graphics card issue....I updated the driver software but it didn't help. I'm not confident we'll get a fix here on the forums.
