Friend and I were doing a whole new game effective yesterday after completing a campaign previously made before the latest development diary.
New game standard setting we normally use. About 25 years in we had a desync with random count. It didn't cause too much concern but for the non-host player the game became completely unplayable. The second player was unable to assign leaders to jobs whether it was science vessels, research, or military related matters.
Fix : Non-host player left and came back, but he desync would occur soon after.
Created a whole new game,
Same type of issue occurred but in a later time frame about 30 years.
This is not an issue we have run into in a long time and is very concerning.
