You cant if its bug releated and there is a known dsync with POP_MODIFERS and PLANET_MODIFIERS. Just wait for the first hotfix that will hopefully fix the issue.

But what do those 2 desync thing even do? In my games we always get those but we save/load the game and continue playing. Havnet seen much issues tho but i might be missing something ... ?

EDIT: oh and for people asking for tips ... idk if its a thing but it seemed to be that i was getting less desync when playing on normal speed instead of faster/fastest in the late game.

I would constantly get the pop_modifer desync but then we switched to normal and it never happened altho this was in our last few years of that particular game.
And i cant imagine me playing on normal for more than a few years, its just too slow

Well i know it has its own issues. But some of these changes will find its way in the final patch and iam pretty sure the outpost cost is one of it.
And to be fair, it isnt a big deal anyway. You only notice it briefly in the early game. You get used to it.

I'd rather play with this upkeep then with constant desyncs (we were at a point with desync every 3 months in 2.0.1, unplayable).

I play in Beta 2.02 and we are getting constant desyncs come mid-late game on large map on normal speed.

Same here. It does not happen during the early game. But by mid game it happens often. And if it once started, it is not going away. In our current game we desynced like 20 times or more.

Because it happens so often, we started to just go on (instead of all players rejoining). But that leads to weired results, i.e. player cannot move fleets/leaders anymore, at some point our games had desynced so much, that a war had a different outcome.

This situation is bad. Very bad. I think it does not make sense to play multiplayer before this is fixed :(

ps: This is with the beta patch!

I guess Jamor said they are working on it and as soon as they have pinned them all down they will push the fixes into the beta patch.

A new OOS happened today after updating the new BETA patch...Out of sync: Random_Count, and Country_Energy. We have also tried the host only DLC and they did not help by the way.

Yeah this is still nearly unplayable even with this latest patch, mid game OOS are game breaking.

After over 1 month still no multiplayer fix, sry why should we buy anything or care for devdiaries while the game is singleplayer only? Haven't seen any anouncements about any fixes in that regard either. Sry but has the whole stellaris team left and went to an other game?

Thy are working on it, i hope... desyncs are not easy to fix. i recommend to take snapshot and upload what save files or OOS files from your game and send to devs. the more data they have the better to help us.

In a big multiplayer game (20 ppl), we got some big desync around the beginning of the Khan Crisis (and also got ghost event like in EU4). It's less a problem now all marauders are wiped but next time we will try without.

we just had an mp with 5plp one was playing an devouring swarm, rest normal empires... we had a desync right from the start every 20 mins or so. any ideas what it could have been, is the devfouring swarm still bugged (i think it was somehow bugged?)

Started a new game only with brother (both human races), we both have 50/10 Mbit Internet and the DESYNC showed up after around 100 years, now every 1-2h …
once we continued, but it ruined the save game …
now we always restart the game, but that is TERRIBLE, so you hear me DEVS !

Only using my own mod, which reduces POP GROWTH down to 10% for the whole galaxy, even only playing with 0.25 Habitate planets, so for sure it isn't because that everyone has to much, after 100 years …

PLEASE FIX IT PARADOX

Thanks

PS: Just happend again, last two have been because of DESYNC_EVENT … so it is for sure related to the new DLC, I have it (I have all), but brother doesn't ...

Hey Guys,

i was playing (600 Stars, Beta Patch, AI Empires, Marauders) with one friend and we started to desync (unity) every 5 min at late mid- to early lategame. Before it was about every 2 hours, so annoying AF but still playable. I might have found a way to minimize the desyncs during lategame: after a desync happens save and reload the game but let the game run about one month before the other players start to rejoin (so the host is the only player ingame for 1 month). This way we had a desync every hour or so but we were able to continue the game at least. Surely the AI will make horrible decisions for your friend (like changing species rights, remove buildings, declare wars...).

I cant say if we were just lucky or if it might help some of you aswell, i just tried it in the mentioned game. Good luck!
