"Deus vult" is planned mod set in alternate reality from polish book "Teutonic poker".

Lisbona, Madrid, London and Dublin are under muslim's control. Germany is still divided into small countries , with various objectives and governments. Balkans are held by Turks with an iron hand. Only Teutonic Order is still trying to break up european stagnation....

- Europe is divided between two blocs - the Christian and Muslim countries. There is no wars since 1924. One of the strongest country in this continent is Commonwealth of Three Nations.
-Southeast Asia is land of Muslims. In this part of world rule Caliphate of Baghdad, Caliphate of Arabia, Persia and Turkey.
-Tzardom of Russia is still strong country, but desperately needs reforms, that will change old, uneffective feudal system and modernise obsolete army. In addition, Russia is in state of war with China.
-China is under control of Chinese Peasant-Artisan Community. This is first socialist country in the world. Chinese army brought revolution to north Korea, Indochina, India and Mongolia. Only Xinjiang and Tibet are still ruled by exiled emperor of China.
-South Korea is in alliance with Shogunate.
-In Africa Bantu Confederation is the biggest contry. Unfortunately, this country is in permanent state of conflict, because of tribal problems. In south of Bantu is Zulu Kingdom. In north are: Ethiopia, Caliphate of Egypt, Emirate of Algieria, Caliphate of Mauretania, Christian colonies under Commonwealth protectorate and muslim tribal state, ruled by Suleiman the Great.
-India is area of conflict between communist Maratha Federation and Mughal Empire.
-America is still under construction.

Mod will be released when it'll be done. We're looking now for graphics, someone for technological tree and translators (we are making this mod in polish, and we don't speak english in satisfactory level).

Usually, we can translate our texts from polish to english, but after translation they don't have... Power? Style? Something like that. For example, in polish second paraghraph was much longer, with references to Mecca etc.

Interesting mod idea.
So the world is split between christianity and islam? Another side could be atheism? And animism, hindousim, budhism and shintoism could be minor factions. Maybe theres needs to be a Caliphate of Algiers and of Indonesia too.

Atheism is in China, North Korea, Indochina and Maratha Federation.
Animism, hindousim, budhism etc. will be in several countries after anti-muslim or anti-christian revolutions, for example in India or in Bantu Confederation. Shintoism is in Japan, there will be also judaism in America, in New Canaan, jewish country on Caribbean. We are thinking about series of events about emigration from New Canaan to Palestine, in case of fall of Caliphate of Arabia.
There can't be Caliphate of Algiers. Mod is basing on book, where was described Mauretania-Egypt border.We added Algiers as kind of egyptian autonomy, because, on the one hand, we don't want "blob" in Africa and, on the other hand, we needed some explanation, where is border between these countries (like with USRR and Poland - we were bordered with USRR and, for example, with Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic in the same time.).

Ok, but there needs to be a Indonesian (or Malay) Caliphate, the region is a very important part of the muslim world. It would be surrounded by enemies, fight with Christians in Philipines and Australia New Zealands, Hindous and Budhists in Indochina and Animists in Papua New Guinea.
