To make a general response to everyone asking have we fixed the CTD problems.
Yes and no:
Yes as we have used the validator to fix any errors we could find and hopefully stabilise it.
No because I do not get CTDs... literally never. I cannot fix what does not happen for me. Random CTDs are random, there is nothing we can do to really fix them; invariably they are down to your machine and nothing we can do.

I mean it's just strange because before this version I pretty much never crashed, it worked perfectly and I could play hundreds of years on a save no problem. But I am hopeful those errors you fixed will solve it :)

I too never had crashes before this version for hundreds of years. This version reaches, on my 3 different computers, reaches crashing point between 60~100 years.

Have you tried playing hundreds of years without a crash? I never got any crashes for first 50 years on this version, either.

If you have played hundreds of years without crashing, then I hope the cause of crashes had already been addressed.

Does it seem like an interesting coincidence that it just so happens crashes are happening with just this mod and buy a lot of people?

I personally blame Melisandre and her
Stanis shadow babies
random CTD's? I think not! They are her evils doings for *spits* R'HOLLOR!

Yes, because most people can not take care of his laptop/CPU

If we talk about random crashes:
IMO it's clear -AGOT it's heavy mod with many features so must be less stable than vanilla
Question is how much
IMO if laptop/CPU is quite strong and maintained player less suffer ctd

There is many sollutions how to improve game speed(any) so it sometimes help

I mean that is just not true at all I take care of my computer completely and as many people have stated, they could run THIS mod perfectly with little to no crashes before this version. The crashes seem to be happening to most people on specific dates in their saves repeatedly. So no, it isn't clear.

I mean the devs are doing amazing work but I think it's kinda crazy to call this a "machine issue" when so many people experiencing these crashes have a perfectly good computer, can run other mods, and could run this mod perfectly before this latest version.

I've always disliked the Weirwood Trees do practically nothing for the followers of the Old Faith.

Hear Hear. I proposed something on the Citadel a while back involving the trees. Hell a whole religious overhaul would be more accurate to describe what I posted. I need to dig up that post actually, it had some stuff that might fit well now.

We cannot simply blame the machine. In my personal experience, the CTDs occur even on a supercomputer.

Please tell me you actually have access to an actual supercomputer, installed CK2 on it with the AGOT mod (I guess its possible since they tend to use Linux), and determined that it still crashes. Cause that'd be awesome :p

And btw, here's another hand up for the "used to work flawlessly up to this point, can't make a couple of years go by without a CTD in this version" demographic.

I have a computer which I bought this year. Do tell more how the mod CTDs are caused by my machine

I may have overestimated on the whole supercomputer, but it's a fresh computer, bought this year. It has 2.5 Ghz eight CPUs and over 8 GBs of RAM memory.

I agree, I bought a new one this year with roughly same specs

Blackninja did not say it was your computers being too weak, thiugh, he said that it was because your computers are different from his computer, and he only has his computer to go by. I would assume the other devs are not in possession of any greater than normal number of computers either.
