I have a huge galaxy with the WiH just starting (year 2450 ish) and the day ticks are better for sure in general to prior to 3.x but I do have some kind of graphical / frame stutter in general in galaxy view.

Let me know if you want the save.

Here you go then. I'm not sure the League should have stayed as our covenant type on being formed thats probably a small detail ^^

Ship designer menu goes from perfectly fine to a literal 2 fps experience seemingly randomly. No clue what causes it but its immensely annoying.
I second this. My fleet planner lagged so hard last night I thought the game might freeze. It seems like the more total fleets and ships (not just fleets but also ships) you have, the slower the fleet planner gets.

This sounds like a save that they'd want posted in the "Performance 4.0.3" thread and possibly a separate bug report for it. I know they're trying to track down slowdowns.

I had th same thought and plan on posting it when I get home from work. It is a save made in...4.0.6?...hard to keep track at this point. It didn't originally have this particular performance problem, but I did previously post it in that thread because it was permanently freezing for unknown reasons and as of 4.0.10, that freeze was resolved.

Something tells me that even after version 4.10 there will still be many updates to come. And I just started playing.

Two more fixes that we missed in the initial pass of the notes - I've updated them now:

Bugfix

  • AI will stop resettling from and into planets being colonized
  • AI will stop losing colonies due to resettlement

If its alright I'd like to reply to this for transparency and ask if there are any plans to fix marauder raids by making them immune to FTL Inhibitors? Currently they break when they target an empire with enough FTL Inhibitors to block off all travel routes to their inhabited planets, as this causes the raiding fleet to hang out in their starting system forever.

Hi,

so in 4.0.3 it mentions
  • Devouring Wilderness now correctly generates biomass from eating pops
but I'm still having that issue on mine in steam, I don't know the checksum right now I will file a bug report I guess but someone else already has too after 4.0.3 so it's not just me. Any word on fixing that actually?

Thank you so much!

The Buttons at the end of the B-Fury are the wrong way round clikcing stay kicks you out of the game and clicking leave makes you stay (though you lose everything anyway so its kinda pointless)

  • Slaves and purged pop groups no longer listed as being demoted"
This is still broken. Slaves are still getting demoted to civilian status, even when they have traits that would make them more useful in worker or specialist positions...

This is more of a suggestion, but since it's tied to a 4.0 feature and isn't that in depth I figured I'd drop it in here instead of posting a thread in the suggestions forums.

It would be nice if, when creating a Template, there was a one-click option to set a new template as the default and integrate the previous default subspecies (along with any other subspecies already set to integrate to default). That's usually what I want to do when creating templates, and the current setup makes the feature feel semi-hidden, to the point a newer player might not realize that subspecies integration is a thing.

1 Question and 1 (small) request

Question:
I read the UI changes and saw some improvements in the job production overview. Are there any plans to give us a "job production per 100 pop" to be able to actually compare those values. At least for myself, I don't need a sum of production of 745 technicans, i want an averaged per 100 pop, like in the old days, we got a production by one pop too, not only the production of 24 researchers

Request:
There seem to be some few overlooked boni for some gameplay elements which now have zero (or almost zero effect). For example Galactic Curators civic refers to now almost non-existant culture workers. Trade League federation member bonus seem refer to clerks. Can we get a replacement bonus that actually has an effect please. I don't except anything powerful but just an actual placeholder working, whatever it may be, would be really helpful.

Still getting OOS issues, though thankfully less consistent than they used to be; only one game has been irreversibly ruined.

However one thing I'm noticing amidst all these is that your resync button is useless. Sure it will briefly resync, but without saving and rehosting, the stability only gets worse and worse until eventually we're forced to do that. Whatever shortcuts it's taking, they render it ineffective.

Looks like 4.0.10 is taking things to the right direction, so it's great that multiplayer is getting stabilized.

Played a game with friend yesterday. Things went mostly without hick-ups, but as soon as Great Khan woke up and started their total war and collection of subject, OOS events started triggering until the crisis was over.

"NUM_POP_GROUPS", "ECONOMY", "ECONOMY_OVERLORD" were the most common OOS-events that would fire off while Khan event was active and we had to rush Khan down in order to stop OOS from happening.

But sadly "ECONOMY", "ECONOMY_OVERLORD" kept being a problem during the run, since half of the galaxy worked as vassal for somebody after the mid-game point. Along with RANDOM_COUNT and occasional "RANDOM_COUNT".

Still, 4.0.10 works a lot better for multiplayer compared to previous versions, so good job on that and I'll be eager to see rest of the OOS fixed. Once they are tackled down, I'm hoping that overall game performance can be looking at as well. Currently it's very unstable, my FPS jumping between 50 to 140 without even moving camera or opening any of the windows.
