Seen it in a bug report but might as well put it here as well, Synaptic Lathe doesn't work with undesirables. The main icon changes to them being neutral chips but they don't produce any research, whereas your own pops will.

Do they flip into Neural Chips at the end of the month?

They do for me now on the 4.0.21 beta. They seem to still be there hidden and not working the Chip Jobs but when I move them my Research and Advanced Logic income goes down

Is it intended that Undesirables automatically Resettle themselves to the Lathe though? It's a big upkeep increase when you conquer any; before you didn't pay the cost and still got Advanced Logic until they were all gone, but now that you get full benefit and full cost I think I'd like to do it manually. This would benefit from some love to the Resettlement window, maybe some of those Ctrl/Shift modifiers for large transfers, and much more info and less groups of <100 Pops. Perhaps Undesirables could get a Resettlement cost similar to Slaves as well, right now they are twice as pricey to move.

They should only migrate to the Lathe if set to Synaptic Service.

I'm currently looking into the strange case where Undesirables aren't converting properly. The saves people have provided have helped a lot.

I agree 100% that resettlement needs bulk move options.

Ah, so it's another sneaky Policy like Land Appropriation, gotcha.

Even sneakier actually, since it's under the individual Species Policies. I have Slaves as my Default so I can't set a universal Purge Policy.

Here's a Bug Report on another Lathe issue with the divided Populace as well.

There is a bug if you play tomb world and go invade other planets while they are colonizing then just 1 warship with amagedon mode touching that planet will immediately become tomb planet. and another bug i found is a race is allowed to colonize. if you don't allow them to colonize while the colonization waiting bar is complete if you turn on the mode that prohibits that race from colonizing then that planet will not be able to continue even if you turn it back on

Machine world terraforming needs to be revised cant directly terraform a toxic world into a machine one, terraforming usally clears all special features it would make sense wiping special features if they somewhat are related to the planet fauna but that is not the case...its wiping features added by the cosmic storms it also wipes the special features given by event of subterranain species etc...
Related to machine worlds its missing the trade/logistical designation unless its a balance reason.
 
I have issues with Ecumenopolis. After finishing the decision, building a urban city district initially afterwards, the first 6 urban slots gets destroyed/removed/cleansed, leaving only a basic ship shelter.

This happened on 4.0.20 (new save in this version) for both individualist AND Rogue Servitors
This also happened on 4.0.21 Beta (also new save for this version)
