Any balance changes to events that kill x number of pops for Wilderness? I picked an event option that killed 70 something pops in the Purity situation and it completely depopulated and uncolonized a well developed planet because of the weird pop numbers. Also, the final stage of idyllic bloom for wilderness doesn't really work right. The bloom event fires but the trait is never added. The building can't be deleted, so the whole civic ends up pretty terrible (not that it was amazing but I like it).

Not sure what is going on here, but I suddenly can only have 1 Menial Drone on my capitol as a Wilderness empire. As you can see in the screenshot, no jobs have been disable and I have sufficient Biomass to work the jobs. Prioritizing jobs does not fix the bug, neither does waiting for the next month to updating everything. My economy has been ruined as a result.

Edit: I have filed a bug report along with the save file if anyone wants to take a look for themselves. This bug has ended this run since I can't function with my capitol permanently crippled.

Plz fix the Devouring Wilderness for real this time.
I still only get society research and food from "processing" (the only option except displacement).
zero biomass

I wouldn't call this a bug per se.
Just remove that job priority mark on the food drones and it will be fine.
Another tip is to never spent all your biomass, since biomass works jobs

Prioritizing and deprioritizing does nothing. My capitol is locked to 1 Menial Drone no matter what I do. I had more biomass but the Hive FE made me an offer I couldn't refuse, if you know what I mean. That particular demand request was made to me shortly before this occured and now I am wondering if it is related.

It would be logical to assume it's realted.
I certainly never encountered this in quite a few devouring wilderness runs.

Can you please make it possible to farm effectively on Orbital Habitats again?

Reverted many of the leader changes:
  • Leaders once again gain traits at every level.
  • The number of trait picks per level has been set back to 2 by default.
  • Low level traits that were merged and buffed remain so
Are there plans to revisit leaders at all, or is that pretty much the conclusion?

That's a fine conclusion, because it made many bad traits more competitive. Just wondering if we should expect/give feedback on any further possible leader changes to reduce the random trait draw pain from only two picks when some classes have an extremely large number of possible traits, as does pre-specialization for all leaders.

Oh come on, it's been A DAY. Are there seriously this many people whining about not getting their dopamine hit on every single level up?

While the initial changes were better than I feared, they were still very controversial. At this point, either buffing the remaining unbuffed traits or reversing the most contentious changes were probably the best calls. I wouldn't have minded the former, but the later was probably wiser.
