Still running into COUNTRY_RESOURCES desync.
Game ran well for 25 years and then it desyncs every month.

Not to mention the pop system, planet automation...
Agreeing with the fact, 4.0 is too unstable.

Synthetic Fertility pops now die off much slower
The Synthetic Fertility origin is still a bit borked! Yes the pops are being purged slower, but I believe it needs to be even slower. The situation & purging now ends at 2215 rather than 2209 (which is better); however in 3.14 (before the 4.0 changes) it ended in 2230, so now it's twice as fast now. In addition, researching the required tech & having the unity necessary to "end the situation" with this purging speed is very tight if not almost impossible. For example, in 3.14 I had everything done by 2222 and still had time to delay if I wanted to using the medium option; now even I use the maximum option in the situation, there is no guarantee I can't get it done in time. So could you guys please address the purging issue again?

Is it intended that the Lord Commander from KotTG obstructs ruler strata jobs? Stuff like noble estates/ministry of production give exactly zero jobs on the habitat and only on the knights habitat (works fine on planets/regular habitats)

UI QOL Suggestion: Remove the "UNEMPLOYED POPS OH NOES!" alert from the outliner for pop numbers less than 100. I twitch out seeing the "This planet has unemployed pops that will migrate" warning on EVERY. SINGLE. PLANET.

QOL Suggestion #2: After conquering a world, reset all jobs and decisions on the planet. I went to boost enforcers on my crime-ridden conquest only to find there were 300 enforcer jobs unrestored.

Yeah, I know that. but there will be point where I can't expand or build thing. It would be end of the game, yes, but such point in time exists, and would be good to not collapse only because I can't stop growth.
The wilderness gets a repetable planetary decision to create more space for districts, and pump the size of planets to 30. I.e. it creates development space... it's imposible to stop growing, you just slow down a bit at end game.

I am a little concerned this is too much of a nerf in terms of actually speed to finish the origin. The relic is also still pretty rough given the long cool downs between using it. I think if you boost the actual progression per knight back up that would be fine balance wise.

But thanks for making them less silly OP compared to what my post on reddit was doing with them lol. Glad you choose to nerf their quantity instead of nerfing their bonuses being assigned. It is such a unique unit I love keeping it in the game.
Why is it that gamers always celebrate buffs but always complain about nerfs? The devs know how to balance their game.

1. Because humans like being given things and don't like having them taken away.
2. Your generalization has exceptions :)

It should be noted that everytime you desync an oos log of around 200mb gets made in your documents folder.
For me this folder was around 20gb without anything ingame warning of such a huge size or any limit.

The game is still very broken. I have ZERO workers on many of my planets. I can't get pops to work those worker jobs (like technicians); they only fill specialist jobs, and for well over a century, these planets won't grow pops to fill in those jobs. The oldest planets do have workers, but the newest ones must take YEARS before they see workers.

The new economy requires you to grow MUCH more slowly and strategically than in previous versions.

Or you can do what I do and enslave a neighbor (or the Nu-Baol) as domestic servants. Fun times.

Eladrin said in a different thread there WILL be a 4.0.6 today sometime.
That's mental and a huge effort from the team. I know the Monday launch didn’t go as planned, but the effort put in afterward is just a testament to how much they love the game—and I, for one, thank them for it. It’s the sole reason Paradox games are the only ones I still preorder. Thank you, guys.

I mean I am also a software dev. I also praised them nerfing it because no I don't think I should be generating the 100k research I was per month. I just think the origin takes too long to complete and because you can no longer boost knight quantity up unlimited amounts because of other changes. They need to allow more progress per knight. Almost like I play this origin a lot and recently just played it and thought my god that taking over twice as long would suck. The origin has a lot of problems and pretty much always has had them its just fun and unique.
