Devastating problem--will not load after 3 glorious years of playing

Not sure what's gone wrong. I have never had this problem.

says "fatal error--can't initialize video"

I have always disabled the videos by changing the folder name to avii and the program would just skip the videos.

I have recently switched to omega drivers could that be the problem?

any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going through withdrawal here

If the latter, did you change the resolution in settings.txt?

Are you running a refresh rate override? If so, disable it.

have just found out about DV. Using CK with the previous latest beta, downloaded a couple months back I think.

I disabled refresh rate override. Still have the same problem. I'm not even aware of another video after the paradox and CK intro. maybe I disabled another video file that I don't recall. Is there a third video?
