Here I will compile a list of the best features and ideas from the community for CK2. I will only include ideas that have been brought up that have been extremely well received from the community so that Paradox Developers don't have to look through all the far fetched ideas that have tons of arguments from everyone. Hopefully Doomdark may implement some or most these in the CK2 making the best game ever!

Thanks for summing that up, if i recall right the CK1 forum had an ideas thread too, i bet there are a lot of gems and good ideas to find there too =)

EDIT:
Here is the link to the Crusader Kings 2 Wishlist in the CK1 Forum
and here the link to the Wishlist Thread in this Forum

This thread just adds to the clutter and is horribly subjective. If anything, I find the playable courtiers the best idea till now, but it's not in your list. Ergo, it's subjective.

I'm sure the devs read threads without the title demanding them to do so.

And there is the HRE thread in the list, which doesn't have anything particularly interesting, and is far less well received that the playable courtiers thread.

I concur with Duke of Bavaria. Where is the thread about the "letters" idea? That one is very feasible and interesting, and seems to gather almost as much support as the courtiers thread. This thread is simply not the alpha and the omega of good CK2 suggestions.

I am pretty sure that the developers will read most threads, not just the ones named 'DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ' :)

alright alright god i didnt think that compiling a constant growing list of forumite ideas was such a bad and self-centered thing:)

close it off if its really that bad

Relax, it is not a bad idea at all. And you put in a good effort.

Though adding your personal comments to the links might not have been such a good idea, since as you have seen this causes people to think that you are biased towards a suggestion. This of course is most likely not the impression that you wanted to give with the comments, but this is how people understood it.

I had the impression he goes out collecting ideas to make and maintain an evergrowing list of the suggestions he finds, and those would be just the first ones (every list has to start somewhere), i think that wouldnt be a bad thing to have.

Also characters need localization and by that I mean they actually need to actually have a physical presence in the province they are in.

Say if you are leader of a regiment, then as that regiment moves the game treats that character whatever the province they are in. So events tied to provinces on characters should be applied depending on which province they are in together.

I think Rome:VV sort of had this and CK did too but with courts, but it was more or less treated as court wide rather than any particular place.

I mean if you had a regiment with your King in the holy lands, he would still have hunting events and relationship events with people back at home.

It would make more sense if this could only happen if the characters are in the same province.

Of course you should have to option to take your wives and some people from court with you on a long journey, but was silly to keep having kids with your wife while she was 1,000 miles away from you.

Okay deleted comments. It was more just to describe what the thread talks about so you didnt have to go into it.
yeh sorry about before I was just a bit annoyed that I tried to start a list of good ideas and started getting told I was biased immediately.:)
