Gents,

I had a VERY gently modded career running, about 300 days in. However, I can get all the way to the drop screen before it hangs now in 1.7.

I haven't added anything that I thought should affect the save, but I was clearly wrong.

Is the way to tell which mod is causing it to hang to reload modtek and check the log?

Thanks for any advice,

Mad

There's a mod called FYLS that gives a better output log than the one from ModTek.

Otherwise try posting your list of mods... some have been updated for 1.7, others not, maybe someone can tell you which ones haven't.

Might be something else - the recent ModTek v.0.7.3 released for BattleTech 1.7 can make your previous modded save games incompatible. To go around this you need to install ModTek v1.7.0 that was released 6 days ago

Moving to a new planet did not fix it for me.

Tried an earlier save and moving planets and it let me drop.
However, LRM's behave oddly and the first time I used Precision Shot, it hung up, though it let me exit the game without task manager.
Tried it again, same exact thing.
Guess I'll be waiting a while longer to find out what still needs updating.

There is no download for this on GitHub, only source code. Has anyone built it themselves?

Since it is missing from Github, I've added it to the Hyades Rim as a solution that for this problem.

Here is a copy of Modtek 1.7 that Justin Kase kindly shared with me, so I'll pass it forward

I hope it helps
