  • Magicka
On Steam there's a few options..

There's Magicka itself for 10 dollars.
There's all the DLC separate.. in total 32 dollars.
Then there's a bundle that includes Magicka and all the DLC for 25 dollars.

Here's the bundle:
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/13523/?snr=1_5_9__403

I was going to buy that since it's the better deal.. but I already own the game.

When I go to checkout it says:
"All digital goods are delivered via the Steam desktop application.

Steam and your games will be available for download at the end of the purchase.
Is this a purchase for yourself or is it a gift? Select one to continue to checkout."

So I guess I can't split up anything and keep the DLC then give the game to a friend as a gift..?

wasting money
feels good.

I have no idea on how Steam works, but I believe you are correct. You can only buy the complete package, and can not gift an already owned game.

yeah. its confirmed now :(

"† Note: You already own the following items in "Magicka Collection". You will not receive extra copies of these items when you complete this purchase:
Magicka"

Pretty lame. :S

I feel your pain, man. Bought Magicka twice on oh-so-wonderful steam and couldn't gift a copy to a friend of mine. Never liked idea behind steam. Started using it because of this game and although I have been enjoying the game I still wonder if I made a mistake.
