The most I've done as Ireland was take Haiti and the Dominican Rep. and Portugal. Then I utterly fail... somehow. I never built a carrier... thats really strange and funny to see that...

Well Ireland is a great power now and it needs a navy, what's funnny about the carrier is that its a converted battleship with a flightdeck, except I don't have the techs to make a battleship.
Seeing this AAR back made me decide to properly finish the story with a proper defeat of nazi Germany, plus I need to distract people from my Soviet AAR that I haven't updated in weeks.

This AAR is out of retirement. I figured it was nowhere near the end. To catch up on things I find most of my divisions in the Asian theathre while a strong garrison of 9 divisions protect the rather useless Greece. On the other side of earth the US spread it influence into France, it's thundering armies move foward while the Germans make stiff resistance.
Invasion!
Of course I might be exageratimg a tad bit, the Americans make a strong invasion but aren't good at the whole liberating thing. But lets get back to me shall we. My conquest of Japan was textbook. I mean taking out the capitol makes everyone run out of supplies, brilliant!
Push up the --- WTF?
Guess I'm pushing up the mystical river of #NA, maybe thats the portal to middle earth but thats for the post war. My 6 divisions turn the tide of the Japanese invasion and my troops gain worldwide prestige, seeing how nothing is happening in any other front. My commando divisions are ready to bring alot of whoopin on the makeshift Japan capitol. Of course spirit alone can't win battles and I lost alot of good men, okay maybe not men more like percentiles.

After loosing and now waiting to reorganize I decide to do something about Korea and that NZ division toasting marshmallows or rice paddies what ever they do up there. First I decide the 7 divisions stuck on a island should go on my mantlepiece for biggest capture.

I figure I deserve promotion and I really couldn't afford loosing MP. After my thrid attempt at cracking the last victory point, I succed and now I get lots of electronics!
I can see it now: MicNintendo
Now it's the fun part of moving a quarter of a million men half way around the globe with about 8 transports. Destination: Greece!

Taking control of Norway and Eygpt for more men for this grand offensive. It's gonna take alot of work but I think I can do it. Well actually not me more like those cannon fodder Egyptians without and leaders. An before I end this rather crappy update I must say that the US was wiped out of France, Russia and Germany; you guessed it haven't moved and Italy has seen some major battle that greatly reduced the Allies divisions. But Nazi Germany beware, it's a known fact that us Irish are stubborn and that we will not relent. Hopefully the other curse of the Irish; laziness will not infer.

Finally the last update of this AAR. I left of with Operation ______, the grand campaign to defeat Nazi Germany. After the slow gains I started to run on men me and the ANZACs. It was time to call upon m nieghbors to the East, the Brits.
British Americans
The plus side of taking control of the Brits was not only the ships it was the men, the Americans to be more specific, Expeditionary forces under British campaign were coming over from Italy to battle on. But what the hell lets just take control of the US too. It is time to push foward.
A Bridge of Ships
That is one thing about taking control of your allies, the reorganizing of the military. But once I'm done with that it should be easy sailing, I decided that my Irish divisions had enough fighting and give them some R&R in Beograd, eventually the AZACs would come too. The Allies move foward, slowly but surely, sending men over the Atlantic is a big job even with a 40 stack transport group.

When the American tanks arrived, it was all but over, I reached Berlin fairly quick. Then of course you know what happens now.....CTD!. Thankfully I learned to autosave and the losses were minimal.

I pushed further with my tanks and my gigantic pockets of infantry. It seems the Germans fell asleep along with the Russians. I also fell alseep when I didn't make any screenshots of the game after the one above. But don't worry, I hope I make it up with the one coming. What I basically did until then was land in France and slowly pocket the stacks. The end results are seen below. Caution, wide picture.
