there is a mod for it so i already know its a very nice to have option.

there are several in the mod shop. i think there are two or so for different length trams, a couple give a variety of trains and a couple for busses.
for busses especially, it was very useful to be able to select lower capacity high number, or more often, higher capacity and lower number.
the different length trains was useful for congested areas, though the game would choose different length trains for the trains passing through which was also a lot of fun to see.
never got around to using the trams.
currently i am running a no mod city.
