Different Checksum for Steam and Microsoft Store

Me and a friend, both use Steam, have the same game version (1.13.1.1 Basileus), we want to play with a Microsoft player game. My checksum currently is fd55, whilst he hava 0ba2. Is there a reason why this is? There are no mods and no debug

I just want to confirm you are referring to the original CK?
