Disappearing Units!

Ok sorry if this has come up before. But as I play I save my game(s) and it seems from time to time when I load a saved game that the scenario runs but I can'y access the units. They will reappear when I deploy new units but then they disappear again and the Industry symbols come up. The game will run combat will take place but all the armies in the world are missing. Anyway to correct this....very frustrating as the AI had just kicked in on the last game and Finland invaded the UK and all of Europe was about to become .... mine....mine..all mine heheheheheheh....err ahem excuse me. Anyway, it took a fair amount of wok to destroy Britains' fleet I'd hate to have to go back and do it all over.

Sounds like a video problem.
Make sure you have the latest drivers.
Rename the AVI folder to AVI_Back
Try reducing your video acceleration.

If none of that works we will need full system specs.

Video card

Well I'm not a computer whiz so I am pretty much sure that I don't know what you mean. I guess if it was the card and or drivers why would it only happen some of the time and not on all the files I save?

Since this problem does not happen to everyone, it must be sytem specific. Therfore I offered you several things to try and see if we could resolve the situation for you.

Do you mean you do not know how to try the things I listed?
