A Discord server has been created for Surviving Mars Modders (SMM-community!)

Feel free to join and discuss/ask around. Please read the server rules here:

1. The server is made for Surviving Mars modders to help each other in modding related problems and to organize modding teams. Please take off-topic to #off-topic and respect the specific rules of each channel.
2. Moderators should be respected. If you are notified because of your actions, please act accordingly lest you will be banned.
3. All discrimination is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to racism, sexism and transphobia. If someone is offended by your actions, please be considerate and don't start smashing them.
4. No heated political discussion. Political conversations will not be immediately stopped but the moderators will notify if they start getting out of hand, we want everyone to feel safe to focus on the topic at hand!

+1 Would also be interested, as the documentation on modding is not very informative right now.

Would also help with mod suggestions and requests to have them all in one place.
 
Once I have Mission Sponsor working I was thinking of creating a template that people could use to help modders quickly knock up the Sponsor, there could then be a channel in discord where these requests could go

Yeah, but we need our own discord just for modders and people interested in modding. This way we could make multiple channels for each category of mods such as modelling, Code and so on. Having only 1 channel in discord for all modding will make posts hard to find and also just make it cluttered.

discord.gg/z33prRp That's the discord invite in case you wanted it. Only one channel for modding though, so I expect it to get rather cluttered rather quickly. I still think its best if we have our own, community made modding only discord.

Is the Server a good place to get advice learning how to mod, or am I required to already know how to mod in order to join?
All I did so far was some recolored Clothes and Tattoos for Sims 4 so far. Which BTW is basically nothing.
