Using a map with setting to drive on the left, I make an intersection with two large roads. I then reduce the road segment that is north of the intersection to a medium road. That creates the following lane pattern on the northbound side of the road segment that is south of the intersection: Left turn/straight, straight only, right turn only. Using a map with righ-side driving setting should create the exact mirror image lane pattern (i.e. left turn only, straight only, right turn/straight), but it does not, it creates the exact same lane pattern (i.e. left turn/straight, straight only, right turn only). The problem is that cars in the left lane that want to go straight are forced to sit behind people turning left against oncoming traffic. Whereas when using the left-side driving setting, it works much better because the lane that turns against oncoming traffic has its own dedicated turn lane.
