Disliked AoD?

Is it just me or dislike many users and modders AoD? In the past weeks I read stuff like

"I'm gald you release v1.x of your mod for Arma, not for AoD"
"AoD is too buggy, stick with Arma"
etc

The most interesting part is that I remember the exact same thing - but with DD and Arma. Many players downright hated Arma (till v1.2).

it's just you. if you are talking about MDS 1.6 then many people feel a bit cheated about the fact taht it was planned to be realsed on Arma and suddenly for no reasen announce that their going to realse it on Aod

No, it's not MDS. AFAIK, you plan to release that for AoD, don't you?

I read stuff like that in other mod threads (A Peace To End All Peaces, 1945 Scenario and others).

Which actually fixes just about every small little thing people complained about in HoI2.

Why should I go back modding HoI2 when I have AoD? Basicly it's HoI 2.5...

AoD was quite buggy (relatively less than any HoI2 expansion was though) during the release, but 1.03 was pretty decent - ignoring some issues caused by the logistics calculation bug - and 1.04 is in good condition.

Yes but atleast AoD dev diaries backs up most of the more valid fixes such as superstacks of doom that won any battle in few hours, combat actually resembles more like fighting with firearms instead of swords and shields etc
