Hi. I am thinking about starting a new match of Distant Worlds (4X in space) and I was wondering, whether there would be interest to make this a bit interactive.

Of course the players could be ship / fleet commanders. Then I think about letting you guys have a say in research, colonization and diplomacy.

Thoughts?

Well, I am interested In the game.

Could The players play like races/goverments or only commanders?

PD: sorry for my bad english, I am not a native english speaker

Sorry for my late reply. The players would be characters within one Empire and could

- become commanders of a ship
- decide what to research next
- decide about a diplomatic stance toward other Empires
- decide about colonization targets (if several possible locations are available)
