Go out and read Cross of Iron by John Mosier to get an idea of the amount of troops in each division, as well as equipment. I'm re-reading the book know, so I might post the numbers here when I get a chance, but you should still read it any way.

thanx it's been moved 3 times now
i really appreciate that :)
so...
if i'm gonna ask about something new in here then i suppose you're gonna move it again :D

Depends on what you are asking :)

You started with questions about historical WW2 divisions and then you moved on to question about which brigade should be with which divisions, which is a modding question.

It is better to split those things, so you could first have started a thread in the History-forum, starting with something like this:

'Hi all, I planning on making a Mod for HoI2 and now I am searching for some historical data ..'
And then you list the information you want.

After you have received the information you need, you then can start a thread in the HoI2 modding forum, starting with something like this:

'Hi all, I am currently working on a Mod for HoI2. The Mod will <list all the things you want to change>. But I need some help/suggestions for my divisions and brigades.' and so on.

That way your thread won't bounce around over the whole forum :)

That you temporarely ended up in the HoI1 forum was my mistake :eek:o

EDIT
It is might also be a good idea to put a link to this thread about your Mod in your signature. That way people can easily find it, no matter where it is on the Forum
