Hi...
I wondered if that would be possible at some point or even for the next game version.
It's something that would work in a similar fashion to how it works now for buildings with RICO settings - simply if someone doesn't have the mod, the asset reverts to its original function - a park, unique building or whatever.

Could it be possibly done for any new asset created by gamers, that there is an option what DLC it is for (so for example a fishing harbour for Sunset Harbour DLC), and if someone doesn't have that DLC, that asset works as a secondary option - unique building or a park or something else?
Also if an asset is made prior to a new DLC (such as Industries), could there be an option somewhere to change its functionality? There was plenty of warehouse buildings as well as some nice toll booths that are still functionless and while it's fine for those who didn't buy such specific DLCs, it basically litters the Steam Workshop, especially when an asset creator starts making all different versions of it (even if (or especially if) they are all exactly the same copies).

It's not a problem if there isn't.
I just wondered.
