I know for a fact you can substitute textures that are already in game by simply pasting over the already existing file.
An attempt to simply change the name of all files and read them later in game was also made but to no avail.
I have 3 textures I can fit on African Archers which make them look like Native Americans and are really cool. Problem is African Archers are also cool and appropriate for Africa.
So I would prefer not to paste them over and instead just have 3 different instances of the model with the 3 different textures.
Now the model is in a .xac/.xsm format. Can this be opened and changed? Should this be opened and changed? What say you ck2 modding elders?
