just hit shift/f12.... type...... then hit enter to send it

you can hit tab,left of q as well,its over a long time much easier than shift/F12.

yes, tab is the easiest way, although you may want to hit "backspace" before you start typing, otherwise your cursor will be in a weird place in relation to your words.
