Just register ur facebooks and vote! CK2!!11!!1!

As a hater of Facebook, I would not like to do anything that promotes that site; and that includes creating an account (fake or otherwise) that boosts their ratings.

*imagines if the 200k event was based on users registering fake accounts for some benefit*

Nah.

If they announce CK2 I will be ecstatic, but I ain't going through the palava of facebook.

Thats just my personal opinion, don't think I or others with the same view should be castigated for it.

I understand Pdox using this avenue (would encourage it in fact), but there we go.

I don't like Facebook either, but sometimes personal preferences must be put aside for the greater good.

It is like when your country gets invaded. It doesn't matter if your leaders are oppressing dictators or anarcho-liberals that let corporations oppress you: you grab the rifle and protect your country.

No no, that is not the way! Would that attitude have made Knut the Great the king of England? Will it give us CK2?

You're A Dane. Think viking!

CK2 will be announced this week, as said by the developers on FB:

This was in reference to the 25k announcement, NOT CK2 itself. That won't happen until we hit 25k.

I think this is a good idea.

Many people that haven't heard about Ck or Paradox will hear about them through FB.

The latest paradox poll have 1900 votes, Ck on FB, will have that many likes before Thursday.

If Paradox is smart, they will release CKville this autumn. If they do so, CK2 will be the best selling Paradox game. :)

Is that official then?? ... no CK2 until FB group hits 25.000??

I don't know what to think of this really ... if it works, then that would be awesome. "Just" 25k random likes on a page and we finally get what we hope for.

But if the page stagnates at around 13.000, then that just means that CK2 will never be announced, and it has been used to test out the use of FB media to expand the knowledge of PI games.

I would very much disapprove of using the popularity of said page to determine whether to make it. Especially when the Vicky people got V2 after a simple poll, hidden off somewhere in the OT forums.

My sentiments exactly.

Even though I do hope we get to that 25K, this is one instance where I will stand bravely by my principles.
But, my God, it hurts.

Com'on, P'dox, give the peasant rabble their game. :)

It depends. If we`re getting invaded by the DPRK I`ll defect as fast as possible.

Long live the dear leader! :D

25k is not possible. And it won't prove anything. Half the forum hates
facebook so much they won't register to
like this page, even though they'd love a
ck2. If this page gets 2k or 25k will say
nothing. Myself, I like facebook, but PI can't in their right mind base this on a silly facebook page. V2 got a few hundred votes on the forum and has already done so well that fredrik has cut his hair!

I'm a bit surpised that all this is barely mentioned on gaming news sites. So far I've seen it on 2 larger boards, at RPS and places where I dropped the news myself. You guys don't deserve CK2! ;)

We'ew too busy crusadin' you know?

?

This hole FB discussion have made me think if there is any decent community for gamers in the web that would be independent ?!? Without any corporate imperialism or social-network "demons" (like security and privacy issues, advertising that blinds you, sociopaths, friendship horders, lonely hearts, stalkers, pedophiles, rapists, missionaries, tweets, - ect.). Something that is made by gamers and for the gamers. Can anyone point me to the right direction ?

Also i am registered in Gamespot (right now reseting my password what i have forgotten) but i always used it for videos, screenshots, news and reviews and stuff like that. Aparently there should be all sort of groups but i never got the hang of the social stuff. Can anyone who is user there try to explain me what it's all about ?

P.S. Can any facebook user point me to the direction of that comic community - the one who made that Christmas no. one stunt.
