I also have a feeling that there's a fair bit of disappointment about CK and the Snowball fiasco. And that they'd like to set that straight and make CK2 the game that CK should have been. Though that is pure speculation on my part. I'd love to see the game done properly though int he new engine. :D

I know for a fact that Johan would love to make a new CK2 from scratch, where they have the time to implement the ideas they have. And I am certain that with the versatility of the Clausewitz engine, they could make an epic game :)

Hmm... just joined the Facebook group. Guess my chances of becoming a serious politician just died a horrible death.

Don't worry, soon enough you'll be repaid a thousand times!

Politicians already spend too much time on FB in good old Denmark, so I guess you can still make it.

Don't worry, in a year or two politicians will have FB accounts and try to add you to their friend lists to increase their chances of winning elections ;)

Most danish piliticians seem to have an FB account ... not that it is any way helping their careers when they blurt out stupid/derogatory comments on their public profiles or groups :)

Joined, as long as I can still marry people in CK2 I'll be happy :p (with a bride map ala Knights of Honor :))

At the current average of 381 "likes" per day, it's going to take 65.7 days to reach 25000. The average has been skewed upwards by the news stories which have generated extra interest, I doubt that we'll see many more of those now that the campaign is in its second week.

I'd define micro as small, repetitive tasks which do not contribute towards the overall progression of the game but are still necessary to regularly perform. That's not really "things to do". The macro actions are what is supposed to be more. :D Just pointing out asking for more micro is rarely a good thing, unless the tasks can be automated as well (i.e. HOI3).
Exactly what I ment by asking for less micromanagement. It's the tedious, repetetive and unnecessary micromanagement I want gone. The focus must be on making a fun game as opposed to making a realistic similator. Easy to learn and hard to master and you have the best of both worlds.

Don't sweat it. Military experience limited to armchair-general level is still better than no experience at all as has been the case of Norways three last ministers of defense and Denmarks present one. In fact, I'd include your feats in your resume when you're eventually gunning for that Minister of Defense position. ;)

Don't forget those who have signed the Petition.

Is there any way to know how many that is, save counting manually? After all, 1 post != 1 vote.

It is almost 1 post = 1 vote. Veld is pretty good at deleting posts that are not votes :) ... though some might vote twice.

Probably Paradox will do a recount, when Facebook + Forum has 25,003 fans/votes. ;)

Other then that, I don't think 100 votes more or less won't really matter

I've no idea what they have in mind, but the prospect of something special could encourage EVERYONE to sign up before tomorrow, to get in on whatever Paradox has planned:

Crusader Kings Close to 4,000 now - I think we'll have to do something special for those who have joined so far. And I think I know just the thing.
