I am guessing it does and out of the box but i am fearful of upgrading if EU wont run on this OS.

Well, it does say on the CD that it runs on 95/98/2000. I would assume that they've done testing on it to be able to say that.
But if no one gives you an answer, I'll install it at work and see if it works.

Yes, we are all running Win2k at the office... Only machines running something else are the ones used for testing.

Patric, would it be possible that I see crashes less often (they are rare as it is, but..) if installed W2K?
I don't really know as we have it running stable on all our machines. You should be able to run it on any of the various Win versions from 95 and up. Win 2000 is my choice because of stability compared to 95/98/ME. Going to try it on Whistler/XP one of these days (Yes, we got that one from MS as part of MSDN).
