If I have three Hydroponic farms in a single dome, and I have each one making a different crop (say one leaf grass, one microgreens and one wheat grass), will the comfort level in the dome improve due to food variety, or doesn't it make a difference? If I grow nothing but Wheat Grass will the Colonists be unhappy about it?

nope, theres absolutely nothing to be gained from food variety. Your colonists will be perfectly happy eating the product of the same one plant for hundreads of years so long as theres enough of it.

All food is the same. Getting food from a diner or grocer avoids the "raw food" comfort penalty, but it doesn't matter what kind of food you grow.

Thank's guys. Shame, I think that may be a missed opportunity there, but it keeps it simple I guess. A diet of grass it is then. lol :p

Or if I'm feeling really mean: fungus. :D :D :D

It is totally a wasted potential. Especialy as Planet Base already did the same thing of domed life on a hostile world and managed to track a variety of crops.
